About Miles' Trip
Miles is a student at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. He left home to film a personal documentary about family farms in the tri-state area.
Miles did not tell his parents that he was leaving Tennessee. He told them he was staying with friends from school. His girlfriend Rachel knew he had gone to film, but she did not know his full route.

This website has been preserved in memory of Miles. It has been updated following renewed public interest in records held by the Town of Trace.
Materials were collected from a former produce-packing property east of town during an agricultural inspection. Officials have not confirmed whether those materials are connected to Miles.
Two boxes of municipal records from August and September 2000 were also removed from the Trace reading room for review.
